About Me

My names are Hopson lupiya. Fun fact my surname Lupiya means money. I was born in humble family of 6 and I am the first born child. My mother is the one that is responsible for all the 6 of us since our father is a drunk. With every single note he finds he uses it for alcohol. I noticed how hard it has been for my mom to take care of all of us hence I decided to start up a business in order to help support her and meet the day to day need for our family

My Business

since there was little to no money for capital for me to start my business I figured instead of stressing mum for the money I started using my talent. I use wood and timber to craft some Zambian culture beads Lily flowers and animals like elephants giraffes that tourists like. When I craft that I paint them and then I start selling as that will only require talent instead of money for capital. I have been selling these beads and animals and Zambian artistics symbols lake Victoria falls elephant horns a year now and the business is moderate as I am able to help my mother out here and there.

Loan Proposal

My business has suffered a few setbacks from the recent rains. It has been raining more than it usually does and the problem I am facing is that every time it rains, I have to stop selling and run into a safe house for my merchandise not to get wait.
I have already bought a small piece of land where I wish to build my small shop.

Income Source

In my quest to make ends meet, I have also ventured into second hand sailing of clothes. I recently purchased some second hand clothes in bulk and I am selling.
My income is raising because of my hard work and the two businesses that I am doing.
So repayment of the loan is something I am garanteed of doing before it is due.

With the previous loan I used the money to buy crafting equipment. I was only able to buy 2 equipments because the money was not enough but it helped me greatly as it has made my work a lot easier. I wish to buy more crafting equipments.
