My name is Charles Abere Manyange. I am 24 years of age. My childhood education was one filled with challenges but I thank God I finally managed to overcome them all with the help of my parents. Another thing that kept posing a challenge to me was my high school education but, all in all, through hard work I finally completed. I joined a computer college and later I was able to start working in that college.
I like our culture for it is enriched with ancient practices such as traditional dances. I like watching movies.
In my business, I deal with selling goods such as books and examinations for primary and secondary schools in my locality. I chose this business because I like it and it is paying well for me. For example, I can earn as much as $100 per month when schools are in session. I look forward to expanding my business to the neighboring districts. I will be able to do this by increasing the rate of production of these exams and supplying them to different schools.
I will use this loan to build a business house which I will use to offer services to my customers. I will build a permanent house which will last long, secure my goods and large enough to accommodate all my services. I will subdivide my loan into 3 parts.
I will use the first part of my loan to buy building materials $60. This materials are sand $10 bricks, iron sheets $15, cement $8, timber $12, sand $20 and nails $5.
The second part of the loan I will use to pay for labour and food $60. I will use $10 to buy food then use the remaining amount to pay workers starting from the masons to other workers.
The remaining amount I will use it to add stock to my business $50.
I think this move will help me reduce the expenditure that I have been spending on paying rent then my goods will be more secure.
I am privileged to be a member of zidisha.

The experience that I got while working here was crucial to me because I used it as a ladder that moved me to the next successful step in my life.

My business has now been running in the past 4 yeasr. The business has been vital since it has helped most of the students to improve in class perfomance. My busines also has helped in creating jobs to the youth in my local village. Like now I managed to employ one lady and one gentleman who work in the two branches. This has changed and improved their living standards. I will intensify this business to ensure that the level education goes up and also eradicate poverty. As a result my business has grown to be so large till I have made a decision to build my own business house which can accommodate all the services that I offer under one roof.
