About Me

My names are Hopson lupiya. Fun fact my surname Lupiya means money. I was born in humble family of 6 and I am the first born child. My mother is the one that is responsible for all the 6 of us since our father is a drunk. With every single note he finds he uses it for alcohol. I noticed how hard it has been for my mom to take care of all of us hence I decided to start up a business in order to help support her and meet the day to day need for our family

My Business

since there was little to no money for capital for me to start my business I figured instead of stressing mum for the money I started using my talent. I use wood and timber to craft some Zambian culture beads Lily flowers and animals like elephants giraffes that tourists like. When I craft that I paint them and then I start selling as that will only require talent instead of money for capital. I have been selling these beads and animals and Zambian artistics symbols lake Victoria falls elephant horns a year now and the business is moderate as I am able to help my mother out here and there.

Loan Proposal

When my loan is disbursed, I will go to the timber dealer and purchase some wood for my crafts. Secondly, I will purchase various ink colours to help decorate my artistic animal creations so that my merchandise can be eye catching.
I will further buy two pockets of cement as I wish to build a mini shop. This is the main project but since the money is not enough, I will start by buying a few building materials.

Income Source

I have been booked for a traditional wedding around my area and I am there providing my artistic services. I am also designing their costumes according to how I am going to paint the surrounding and I am getting paid in a couple of days before my loan is due. So that is the money I would use if at all my sales did not go as expected.
