About Me

I was born in 1992. My dad died so my got married to my step dad. Despite him being educated, when I was young he tortured me and with the support of my real mum I almost died. However I was saved by neighbours it was march 2004. Taken to court and later in August I was admitted in a children's home where my passion for farming started growing. My mother died in 2008 and I finished high school well in 2011. My life was like hell and I thank God and everyone that am alive.

My Business

I provide training to new farmers and especially youths,I sell eggs. Local eggs ate always in demand and people always need to be trained so that they can have ability to run their own farms well and get a profit out of it.
Currently we are facing maize shortage in the country this has made animal feeds to go up. Thus the cost of production is high now the majority of my profit comes from training. Not eggs. And the profits that I get I use it to re-invest in the project to make sure that I can increase my income.

Loan Proposal

Its due to the ongoing heavy rainfall It has been tricky to raise chicks and also i need to start expansion. So this loan am going to buy 3tonnes of query dust, 4 tones of sand, 5bags of Cement and make building blocks myself and the remaining I will pay a masonry to start constructing the house that will be a brooder and host my egg incubator and other farm tools and equipments.

Benjamin is a wonderful borrower. He is a hard worker and is always looking for ways to improve his farming. During challenging times he really makes an effort to keep up payments. I would recommend loaning to any of his future projects.

Hello Benjamin Keino how are you.
    I hope good.
I'm writing to you, because of that you are a few weeks overdue loans.
When can we expect the repayment.'
Remember that due to the lack of repayments, other borrowers will have to wait for their allocation.
    Please let me know.
    Best regards
    John

In the morning after watering the blocks. I mix the quarry dust with cement and mix with water and then I use the metal plate box to compact them into the shape. The process is done manual. With the afternoon rain I could make 20blocks per day but during dry season last year I made 40blocks per day from 6am to 5pm. This are 150 blocks that i have made. I have some 150 extra blocks remained when i was building the toilet so thy will help also.I expect an expert in house construction to start tomorrow building. From my my business view point its better to have a building ¾ standing rather than have all blocks and timber and iron sheets ready without starting the construction.
