About Me

History
About Me
My name is Mrs. Mary Teresah Mzae. I am married to Mr. Elijah Mzae Mwaita and we
are blessed with two daughters and two grand-daughters. We reside in Wundanyi Town
in the coastal part of Kenya. After working as an Executive Assistant in Uap Insurance
Co. Ltd, for 15 years, I took early retirement to join my husband in Ministry at
Wundanyi as a Pastor. I have served together with my husband for over 10 years as a
trainee pastor and leader of the women.

I felt the need to join a college where I would be trained in ministry work so that I can do
it professionally. By God’s grace I was admitted for a diploma course in Christian
Ministry at Scott Christian University based in Machakos which I completed in
November, 2016.

My Business

I am now pursuing a degree course in the same which is costing 4,500 dollars. In my
pursuit of finding how I can raise this money, My sister Ruth Musela introduced
me to Zidisha and after I heard everything about this group, I felt you are the right
people to assist me with a loan to facilitate my studies.

Being a pastor’s wife, I am a leader of over 150 women with different ages, status and
careers. The course I am doing includes Community Development and Child Care. In
order to impact these women, I need to be fully equipped professionally.

Loan Proposal

I have fixed the roof which was damaged when trees fell on it as well as the gutters for collecting rain and the piping. Now I need to start making blocks for the construction of rental houses to supplement my income and also offer affordable residential housing for my community and also increase water catchment. I have collected enough rain water for the brick making so I would like to begin as soon as possible.

Bricks cost 10shs each which is $0.1
I need 40,000 bricks to complete the project but with these funds I will be able to make 10,000 bricks which will build 1 housing unit and cost $1000. The additional $90 will cater for transportation costs and other incidentals.

As explained earlier, I lost my eldest daughter on 25th January 2019 after a very short illness. The surrounding circumstances put me in a financial predicament that I had not anticipated. I am requesting that I pay shs. 1000/= per week which actually sums up to shs. 4000/= per month which is the only amount am able to squeeze myself to pay. Please allow me to let you know when I an able to increase. Thank you for your understanding, it is not easy for me as I am in the emotional healing process.

I had a financial crisis when my daughter fell ill on medications until she passed away. Then expenses for her burial and other payments. I have indicated the next five instalments but I would request you to allow me to pay 2000/= for a longer period until am financially stable. I cannot attain that in the two weeks you are giving me. Thank you for your understanding.

    Dear lenders,
Greetings from me with good wishes for the New Year.

I am writing to thank you for you long standing support by funding my loans. My life and that of my community have improved thanks to Zidisha family. With my last loan I was able to finish the repairs to my little house and start the project of making breaks to put up affordable rental houses to meet the housing needs of my community. Once again thank you for your support and God bless you.

    Dear lenders,

May I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2019. I had happy holidays with my family and look forward to prosperous 2019.

I wish to thank you so much for the financial support you gave during the year 2018 which enables me to do so many things. In the last Comment I mentioned that I was making bricks to put up some rental quarters. I am still in the process of making a since I paused waiting for this next loan.

I pray that you will continue to support me in this costly project which after completion will go a long way to help do greater projects.

Once again thank you so much and God bless you.
