About Me

My name is Sarah Djaba. 44 years old and a trader. I am a Ghanaian living in Tema, Greater Accra Region. I deal in assorted goods like food, drinks, toiletries, beverages and many others.
I need the loan to help me expand my business due to the fact that the demand for the goods is high and my capital is low to the demand.

My Business

I operate a retail grocery store with assorted goods like beverages, canned foods, diary foods, drinks, toiletries, bread and many others. It has been in existence for some years now and it is helping the community in which I live. It is a small scale retail store licensed, accredited, and also have met all necessary tax requirements to operate.

Loan Proposal

My next loan I will receive will help me expand my business more, having a wider stock line to meet the pressing demand of my community. I can buy more canned foods, assorted drinks, beverages, and buy mineral water in a large quantity.
I have created a lot of demand for these food items, and I will be very happy if I am able to meet the demand.

Thanks to Zidisha

Income Source

My business is doing quite well even though a lot of businesses are facing risks in the current economic climate or impact. I have been able to repay my previous loans I have received despite the challenges. So from my profit I make and savings I do, I will be able to pay back my loan like I used to.

Business has still not picked up as promised. Therefore I am making arrangements to settle my loan in full by the end of April. This has happened due to some family issue beyond my control. So please give up to the end of April to complete my repayment. Thanks

Business is still slow. I would like to do a little adjustment to my loan repayment for at least 5 weeks to help me restructure my business to move forward. This adjustment is necessary for me to stay in business.

Market has been very slow during this quarter of the year and due to that sales also is a bit slow. I believe it will pickup very soon in the course of the year. I am trying everything possible to bring my business back to normal. By that I can revert to the normal repayment schedule.

Sales is still picking up due to the slow down in business beginning this year. I believe it will pick up very very soon so I can revert to my initial pegging. We hope for a better market coming the following month.

I am grateful for funding my loan my lenders and zidisha team. This will help me buy a few more stock in addition to what I have already. Part of the money will be used in purchasing a small deep freezer to stock my frozen foods. This will help in this festive season of Christmas.

I would like to say that, the loan my lenders gave me through zidisha team of experts has really helped me in my grocery business a lot. I have been able to do a little work on my shop. I am able to stock my shop with variety of food items and other products to meet the needs of my customers. As a result, I have a lot more to sell to make appreciable profit which has helped raise my family's standard of living. I'm grateful to you my lenders and zidisha team.

With my current loan, I have made a tremendous improvement in my business by increasing my profit margin to about 5%. By my projections into the Christmas holidays, sales will increase which I need to stock more goods to meet my clients. My family is excited for the transformation in our lives. We will be able to have a good festive celebration season this year. Thanks to my lenders and Zidisha team for bringing joy to my family.
