About Me

My name is Susan Maina. I am married and I have two children. I live in Nairobi, Kenya. I come from a difficult background, having been affected by tribal clashes in Kenya back in 1992 to a point of stopping schooling for 3 years while in class 5. By God's grace I was able to go back, and I worked very hard all through [my education] until I achieved a higher degree. My dream is to grow my business and use the income to empower young people and women in society.

My Business

I work as a real estate consultant, a business I started in 2015. Besides that, I mentor and help young people and women on business start-ups and financial management. I train them on record keeping, keeping track of their sales for those who are selling products, and brainstorming on possible small business ideas for those not already in business. I also train them on how to make shaggy mats and marketing tips. Some of these people also have little or no education, and I try to offer them informal training simple to their standard.

Loan Proposal

Having grown tremendously in the last one year, we intend to open a new branch, rent an office and equip it witb seats and computors to support our business growth and further outreach

Loan was originally scheduled to take five months to repay. Regular payments were made until a larger payment finished off the loan after three months. I wish you continued success.
