I am employed by the government on part time basis as a community healthy worker in my community and my roles involves collecting data on local residence regarding their healthy, liasing with the divisional healthy officer and organizing healthy forums within my locality.

I started a tailoring shop within my community and I have hired a young man who is talented in making good clothes for ladies. I started this business to increase my revenue and also improve utilize my free time.

My Business

I am a proffessional community healthy worker and working with the government of Kenya on part time basis. I used savings from my salary to start a tailoring business. My business is growing steadily because of the talented young man who is creative in fashions, trustworthy and has respect to customers. Local women and young people have been requesting to be trained on how to make clothes but with only one sewing machines it has been impossible thus I intend to start a sewing training class in the same premises with my savings and loan whereby I will generate extra income.

I have employed a young talented man as the tailor for ladies clothes. I was attracted to business to utilize the free time, generate extra income and also love for fashions.

Loan Proposal

My tailoring business has been doing great because It has been meeting the customers demand and also generating revenue above the breakeven point. We have been producing excellent clothes beyond customers expectation and this has led to many local people to like our business and are interested to acquire tailoring skills thus we intend to purchase 3 sewing machines at the total price of Kshs 18300 and this will come from my savings and Zidisha loan. I will dedicate my salary to repaying the loan so that the business can grow because I intend to have 10 machines by the end of 2014. I hereby request Zidisha community lenders to consider extending loan services to me. Thanks for your consideration
