Am Hellon Ogola. Married with a daughter currently in High school form one and studying in Mbaga girls secondary school. we live in nyawitta of kisumu county around mama Leah hospital. I am a business lady who seek to build a bright future for my family.
I am dealing in clothes business. I sell both new and second hand clothes. For the last 3 years I have been doing this kind of business. I have been doing it with a relative so from last year I started doing my own and now am trying to be a stand alone entrepreneur.
I purchase new and second hand material and make suits and female wears from them. They are very unique since the materials I use are not so common in the market.
I specifically deal more in women and men african wears. vitenges and lessos.
I thank God for this much He has brought me since I have managed to secure a market stall in the Busy Kibuye market of Kisumu County. What I need most is that income to go for more material to stock so that my customers will choose from what I have on the shelves. Majority of stock is bought in Kampala and Sirare thus this loan will help me in bringing out this material for my customers
Clothes and Boutique is my line of business. I belong to a church group and Christian community majority of whom purchase their wears from me stand alone entrepreneur. this is why I am struggling to be self reliant so that I keep the promises I give to my customers being my own manager for my shop.
I also stock and sell mosquito nets. I buy nets at wholesale and sell to my customers. sometimes I do door to door sale. they have a minimal profit margin but if i get then in large quantities then they can be sustainable.
I have currently moved my business to Kibuye market and have realized a need to more stock like bags, new imported wears like skirt suits, vitenges and lessos for women.
This demand comes from customers who pop in to inquire for these products and I keep on disappointing them since my capital is low. I have also managed to secure an over-lock machine from my cousin. This will make more tailors visit my shop for over-lock services exposing my other products for sale to them.
I believe this loan will go along way into helping me build more stock thus satisfying my daily customers and even give me an opportunity to go for big orders like making for choirs and Small christian groups / communities their uniforms.
This loan is my start to being a great entrepreneur. I thank zidisha team so much for this platform
Stock is what a good business requires. My business requires goods stock so that I reduce alot of the business Deposits I charge customers which sometimes turns them away.
I intend to buy stock for:
Baarzar materials
Kitenges
Linen rolls and various items for my business
this will help concentrate on the selling and taking large orders with more profits.
i undertake to repay the loan in good time as per my repayment proposal
