About Me

I am an ordinary Kenyan born and raised in a humble background in the rural Rift Valley region. I grew up in both rural and urban settings under care of my granny. In the year 2007 my life and those of others was overturned by post-poll violence in Kenya. My family lost everything in the ethnic war and we've had to start all over again since then. Having been a brilliant person in school, my dreams and future were shattered.

I now reside in Burnt Forest town where I have reinvented my life and tried to earn through hard work despite misfortunes in the past. I work as a self employed videographer, motion designer and a small businessman to try and make ends meet.

My Business

I have involved myself in many businesses having failed to secure a job in my country after college. I own a small mobile money transfer shop (Started with previous Zidisha loan) and I also work as a videographer, photographer.

Loan Proposal

A canon 700d/t5i is a multipurpose camera able to take photos and videos without compromising on quality. It goes for about $700 (look here: https://www.techradar.com/reviews/cameras-and-camcorders/cameras/digital-slrs-hybrids/canon-700d-1139296/review).

This gadget will eradicate a problem I have been facing when taking photos or videos. I normally hire it for $50 per day. Sometimes I get work that pays less than $50 per day, causing losses. I am appealing to you lenders to loan me money to buy the camera instead of hiring everyday. Its logical to use the $50 to repay Zidisha loan installments and remain with the camera. Thank you.
