About Me

I live in Magombo town located around 12 km from Keroka town, I come from a family of five; two boys and I. I reside in front of Zawadi Academy opposite a refueling station located on the kisii stage labeled “BIKUNDO PETROL” I am currently running a small cybercafé and photocopying business branded “MOKAYASPACE”. I pursued a diploma in Motor Vehicle Mechanics from Kitale Technical Training Institute and graduated in the year 2011. Before pursuing my studies further, I had for long harbored within me a determination to be in self employment as something to keep me busy and occupied. For two consecutive years now, I have been in direct control of this cyber business where I have witnessed a growth in the number of customers and an increase in the demand for internet services. My objectives are to expand my cyber business to a computing center where the local community can learn something about basic computer skills.

My Business

My cybercafé business has been favored by its present location next to a public passenger service stage and a school. Here, I daily receive a hefty number of customers requesting either for duplication their documents, or internet services. But remarkably, several among my clients have been enquiring whether I possibly could teach them something about basic computer skills especially on internet and other basic computing packages. Most of these clients are the people who either have children who have finished their O’Levels or just adults interested in learning computing. My business receives a huge of regular and prospective customers due to its location along next to a PSV stage and our position right in front of a local Academy hosting Primary school children where parents and teachers daily visit to receive my computer services including printing and photocopying of exams. This has been making it a primary factor good turning my business seeing me make up to 12000ksh in sales revenues and around 5600ksh in profits after settling electricity bills and rent bills. By acquiring equipments like routers, and adding a few computer machines I believe can enable me dole out my intended services. Most recently, we have had cases of insecurity around my locale especially robberies and break- ins but the local community policing groups have near successfully contained the menace.

Loan Proposal

I need to add same computer to my business due.to the increase of customers who like browsing. with that I will be able to maintain them . I have plan to add three desktops which will cost me around ksh60000/- . but 4 me to achieve my plans must maintain and increase the stock of printing papers, ink .i will buy printing papers in bulk and add some computers to
the business since printing and photocopying is the main duty in the cyber , and this will cost me. ksh 20000/- .with this I will be able to achieve my dreams in business.
