About Me

My name is Daniel. I live in Mombasa city having relocated here two years ago. I was born in central Kenya where I attended my primary and secondary school education. I then joined my brother who does business in Mombasa.

During my stay in Mombasa, I enrolled for a short course in computer applications where I learned a number of standard computer packages. I later did a course in video editing which later helped me a lot when I opened a studio slightly over a year ago.

My Business

After completing my course, m,y brother helped with some finances to start up a small studio where I do video editing work for my clients. The work entails working on raw video to an output that a client desires - usually in form of DVDs.

It is a fairly new business but through hard work, I have gained a number of clients. I want to build on this success to grow the business even bigger in the years to come. I am currently making about $150 per month after all the expenses are paid. This is the money that I use for my upkeep. I am hoping that this amount will keep growing with time.

Loan Proposal

My business is growing fast and my clientele is growing too. I need another computer terminal so as to cope with this challenge. The additional machine will help me clear the current pending work and future ones.

I will buy a good machine capable of running the latest software. This is important because it will enable me to serve my clients well and give them the best there is in the market.

The terminal will cost me USD 400 and this loan together with my savings will enable me do it. Thanks.
