My name is John Gakonya , I was born and brought up in Nakuru town in a family of four, two boys and two girls I being the first born.My parents separated when we were still young and hence my mother took the burden of taking care of us.I went to menengai High school and by the grace of God I graduated although there was hardship raising fees from selling charcoal at umoja center. After High school I started a stationary business and typesetting since I learned computer study in school. This business enables me help my mother and my younger siblings.
During my free time I like to socialize with friends, go swimming and reading.
In my business I deal with selling stationary and typesetting. This services is necessary since there are schools in the center which act as my mean customers. Meanwhile I make $300 per month after paying all the bills I get a profit of $100.I use the profits for expansion and helping my family especially my younger siblings.
When I receive this loan I will purchase a desktop computer to add to the one I already have. The budget for this is:
DESKTOP SYSTEM UNIT : Ksh 9000/=($90)
KEY BOARD AND MOUSE : Ksh 1000/=($10)
MONITOR : Ksh 5000/=($50)
TOTAL :Ksh 15000/=($150)
This will benefit my business and my family too since my projected profit increase is 10%. I will be using the new computer for typesetting. The profits gained from the business i will use them to pay bills and also pay my school fees for the computer classes i began recently.
Thank you in advance.
