My names are Joyce Akungu born and raised in Koyonzo village in Western Kenya.I was born in a very humble family but i was luck to go to school through orphan and destitute education program through my primary to high school then college fee part of it my farther sold his land and part of the fee was paid by my area member of parliament. After my college i was out three years before getting the job a time that i spend teaching in one orphan school as a volunteer.Three years two months i was able to get a job by Teachers Service Commission where i have worked for nine years before starting my own orphan and destitute primary school.
I am a teacher by profession.I have taught as a volunteer in an orphan school for three years and taught in public school for over nine years. Now i have a small orphan and destitute private school where i give the service which most of children lack in the public school.I realized most children come to school without taking breakfast so offer the free porridge at 10Am daily that more children can be encourage to be in class.I most offer a quality eduction at a very affordable rates to the poor children around this area and am happy about it.
Dear zidisha i take this opportunity to thank you for not only giving me this chance to raise loan but also to be able to upgrade my orphanage school. From you i expect a loan amount of $60 of which i will use to buy reading books and pens for my school library which will help the teacher to teach and deliver to the children. With good facilities the children will be able to get better eduction just as those who are from a able family. Please kindly support my school through this loan.
