About Me

my names are Hillary Khavoji from western part of Kenya ,Kakamega County am humble God fearing person and i was born in 1982 in kakamegaand am a fisrt born in a family of nine members three boys and four girls,i finish my high school in 2001 but i did not continue with my education because of finance whereby i dint have somebody to finace my education because i had lost my parent while in highn school so life was difficult i was left the head of the family because i was the first born.after finishing high school i engaged my self in farming so that we can have something on the table but it was much difficult beacause i dint have enough money so after struggling for two years i decided to move to the city to look for employment and it was in2004.i moved to Nairobi to look for something to do and by good luck i got a casual job in a contstruction site where i was paid 1dollar a day,i continue with the job as i helped my sibbling ,in 2006 i got another job in different firm but now the pay was better 3dollars a day i used the money to enroll my self in a computer school and after that i manage to do driving course after finishing all these i could put a smile on my face because God had moved me a step forward and in 2008 i applied for a job in a Toy store at village market and i waqs hired as a sales person i loved the the job because you interact with many peole and you learn alot ,the job was paying well atleast 200 dollar a month so with the cash i helped my sibbling to finish there education and the money was not enough so i decided to do part time job of selling second hand cloth which increased my income.am married with three kids n a love reading ,interacting with people.and all in all have learned that hard work pays and thats my motto.

My Business

I work in a Toys store as a sales person where i have a monthly income of 200dollars a month and with the experince i got from the work i do i decided to start selling second hand cloth because most people dont have time to go and look for cloth so i take orders go to the vendors buy whatever i want then resell it to my clients. the business is good because i started with a capital of 20 dollars whereby i can buy for example one piece at 2dollars and resale at 4 dollars making a profit of 100% so at these i could make upto 80-90$ a month adding to my salary of 200$.i choose this kind of business because i interact with a lot of people so getting order is very fast, the money i get from my small business and salary i pay for my kids school fees ,provide food and also help my little brothers and sisters with there education so if i get any loan i would love to expand my business to have a stall and add my stock from kids clothes to adult.

Loan Proposal

currently am dealing with ladies cloth but if am given the loan i would like to rent a stall which will cost 40dollars ,then to add my stock whereby kids cloth will cost 50dollars of which i will buy 50 pieces at 1dollar each and resale at 2dollars making a profit of 1dollar on each piece.then mens shirt will cost 30 dollar of which i will buy 20pieces at1.5 dollars and i resell at 2.5 dollars making a profit of 1dollar on each piece, then ladies cloth will cost 25dollars of which i wll buy 25pieces at 1dollar each reselling at 2dollars each making a profit of 1 dollar on each piece and am sure i will make good businees if i will get the loan and from that i will improve my lifestyle while helping my sibbling with school fees.
