About Me
Kwadwo Poku is my name, I am 26years,I am dark in completion and about 4.4 feet tall. I am a native of Berekum. I am the third son of my parents. I had my elementary and basic education at the local Catholic Mission School. I furthered on to High school at Sunyani the regional capital. I read business marketing at school and decided to practice it in real life. I really like trading and it has been a fruitful business ever since I enter into it. I do reading at my leisure times and enjoy rice and beans Stew as my favorite dish.
My Business
Upon completion of my High School education, I established my own business to relieve my parents of the burden. I engaged myself into mobile phones and accessories. my parents supported me with the starting capital. I was able to stock my mobile phone shop with accessories like mobile phone housing, batteries, ear pins, phone covers and pen drives. My business is gradually flourishing because I have a lot of customers and they really enjoy what I sell. I have added mobile phones to it and is amazing how people rash into my shop for one.
I chose this business because almost everyone above 18 years uses phone in their day to day activities. Therefore, it is very safe and necessary to trade in this business than to invest the money into any other business. Due to the bad economic situation in Ghana currently, one has to take a very critical care in any business before injecting much money into it.
It is indeed a lucrative venture but my source of capital is not sufficient to meet the demand of my customers and I am therefore seeking assistant from Zidisha team to help me raise enough capital to expand my business. I don't spend the profits alone, I have a widow who I usually support her with rice, tomatoes paste and cooking oil.
I have also pay several visits to an orphanage (World of Friends) in my town to assist them with the little that I have and more so reinvest some of the profits in growing my business. Thanks for help.
