About Me

I`m Joel Kandie, yet to marry.I come from a family of 7 children.I`m horticulturalist by profession having pursued a barchelors degree course in horticulture. Currently I`m employed with Hangzhou Agrochemical Industries East Africa LTD. I want to expand my part time investment which I started by constructing a greenhouse in my area then later started an agrovet shop for selling farm inputs and agrochemicals. I like working with charitable organizations in my community. I also like reading inspirational books like ``Understanding your potential by the late Dr. Myles Munroe`` that help uplift my motivational norm. I would like to be an employer in the future and help create employment opportunities to both graduates and non graduates.
Currently part time business builder.

My Business

It is now more than two years since I started my Agrovet shop where I sell various agricultural farm Inputs and equipment and I am glad that it is running well.I have increased the quantity of the products I sell because of huge demand as more youths have ventured to farming thus embracing agribusiness.
Due to the fact that many youth have embraced farming I am seeking funding to buy a more stock to meet with high demand for farm inputs.By providing steady supply of Farm inputs to farmers, I will have created confidence with them enabling me have an advantage over my competitors. My vision is to empower many jobless youth to embrace farming hence eradicating poverty.
.I project the net profit to rise by approximately 20% after the stock increase which I will reinvest in growing the business.
Kindly support futuristic dream.

Loan Proposal

Since the long term rains will start in the next few weeks in my region, I am humbly requesting for funds to boost my business.Planting season in my region is the most crucial time for my business because I will need more of Farm inputs such as herbicides, fertilizers and seeds for resale to local farmers.
In order to meet the farmers demand, I will need need at least $1500 to increase my stock.Since I already have $600 as my savings, I will combine with the loan granted to buy the stock I have already budgeted. My current stock now is $4500 meaning that the all stock will increase to about $6000.I have budgeted $700 to buy certified hybrid seeds,$400 for fertilizers and another $400 to purchase herbicides.
I expect expenses to increase slightly because I will need to employ one more staff to help the two who are already in the shop.Other expenses such as rent, electricity and fuel will remain constant.I also expect profit will rise to $1000 per month because of the increased stock.Once I meet with the farmers demand I expect to attract more customers who do practice serous farming in large scale therefore increasing the profit which I will budget to pay my loan.
Thank you as you plan to finance my business and May God bless you.

Hello Zidisha team. Due to adverse weather conditions in my locality and most parts of my country,I have decided to reduce my installment amount from $38 to $25.The drought that has affected my area has significantly impacted my agrovet shop business as agricultural activities have reduced hence decrease in sales of farm inputs, agrochemicals, farm tools and equipment, etc.
The net profit also dropped by approximately 30% hence necessitated the move.I will increase the installment amount once the weather conditions improve as we are expecting long time rains as from April.
Thank you and may God bless you.
