About Me
Am a university undergraduate in kenya. I have been struggling up and down especially in my tertiary education because life has been tough when fending for my daily life..life has thought me a lesson which has really changed my thinking and become entrepreneur in dealing with household goods like utensils,gas cylinders, skyplast water tanks and cuttleries.. i have been moving my goods from house to house looking for a potential customers and special orders from my customers. Before i started my business i have been saving from my pocket money and other part time
activities that i had been engaging in..i saved a total of 10,000 kes and that enabled me to buy small households goods and selling through mobile shop. through the good customer interaction skills i have been having. i have been able to win the goodwill of many customers and every little profit i get is what i have been paying my fees and doing my personal shopping and the rest i have been able to expand my business. The culture of the society i have been is so friendly and it has been relatively good to promoting my business since most people preferred what is already available even if it was not their priority..people are so kind such that nobody would leave me without buying any item. thanks to them all. My hobby is travelling to new places and this has been enabling me to get new ideas and implement it in my business too.
My Business
My business is only dealing with household items like spoons, knives, cups, plates, sufurias, holders, gas cylinders, sky plast thanks and so forth. These items has been in demand and mostly needed in day to day lives, moreso when it is in a new brand or in different new brands.. I choose these kind of business simply because it doesn't need alot of capital and there are many potential customers moreso when you move from house to house, and tax is affordable. These businees is what is also friendly to me because i do itat my free time after classes and is more convinient .I have been intending to use my profits to expand my business and also to buy my personal shopping and also to use as rent as am renting my room that i stay while studying at the university.
Loan Proposal
I intend to use the loan awarded to buy 2 new gas cylinders to increase the stock i have for better profits after sell.The price of one gas cylinder is 40$. These cylinders will enable me raise more money to gather my needs. Also the community will benefit from affordable gas cylinders and free delivery to their homes from me.The profit i will gain from one cylinder i will sell is 500Kes which is equivalent to 5$.Gas cylinders are in high demand especially from a free delivery agent like me after buying. Providing me with the loan will help my business grow and his means good profit will be generated that will help me pay back the loan as well as gathering for my needs.
