About Me

My name is Emmanuel Basil Apiiga , I am a graduate student from the university of cape coast . I obtained a university degree in Commerce in the year 2013. After i completed my university education I was enrolled to do my service with Social Security and National Insurance trust[SSNIT} .
Over there my work relationship with the managers was very good and i also learn a lot of experience from the work and how the lost income of the ordinary Ghanaian s are been replaced after a very long serving in service.

In the year 2015 , after my service I got a job in a Textile manufacturing company in Accra where they were into designed of many fabrics and material for the global market. The management of the company and the people involve play active role in satisfying their clients needs and expectation.

My Business

As another year file pass, A thought came across my mind and i decided to do something with my life. Each month something happens, and what happens is that i always get cash trap before the months ends . The salary that i was been paid was nothing attractive to write home about.

So a business idea came through my mind. I then decided to raise some monies to enter into the supplier of [Door and windows curtains]. The initial supplier was to seal a contract base on 15 days credit term purchases of which what ever is being sold will be remitted to the company.

In fact the process was rigorous but i had no choice otherwise to the formation of this business. Because all that i needed was to bring this business into being.
Today i had been able to secure that foundations. Also my line of job has also served as a conduit pipe in the formation of my business.

Today my business is name as" BASIL HOMES OF CURTAINS"and known as one of the affordable shop in town. Apparently i make about 700 Ghs sales a day and these has help solve the unexpected cash trap issues i used to envisage.

Five months ago, I applied for zidisha membership and was declined relative to an over slot applicants that has outnumbered their quota. But i took it lightly, A few months down the line i had an alert to create a proposal ,I was very elated to this news and believe joining zidisha will help breathe hope into the sustenance of my business.

Today i wish to apply for a second loan to procure a Chinese fabric for my customers. This fabric had been in high demand by my customers and i rest on you my good lenders in this regard.

Loan Proposal

Buying and selling of designer curtains is my main core activitiy. I started with one roll a year ago in a very small rented shop. As of today I can now order for 3 or more roll of this same fabric.
I remain thankful to our supportive lenders.
As of now 3 set roll of these new inventory will cost 510 USD. And it is my hope that our kind lenders will support me in this regard
