I came from a family of seven, two boys ad three girls ad am the first born.We live in Gatundu south constituency.. Did my fourth form in 2006.
I was so interested in Pharmacy course due to it was my dream to care and treat clients. So I underwent a pharmacy course ad did guidance and counseling course. And after working some few years at different company's ,i started my own small chemist ad through it have grown so much in experience of day to day with different clients and also my pharmacy has grown even in stock ad space.
And opening a pharmacy in our home town has helped me alot to reach the society in many ways;by bring affordable drugs/medicines to the society ,then upto date ad standard drugs and medicines and ensuring that I don't lack medicines at all times. The unique thing is that am able to counsel my clients well proper dispensing of preciptions and over the counter dispensing.
The services I offer is normally administering drugs to my clients who normally com with preciptions, over the counter treating ad also offering medicines and offering free counseling sessions with my patients who just come for them.
And due to my pharmacy have been able to bring in cheaper medicines, upto date drugs but above all the required drugs that are upto standard as required.
I chose this career cause after seeing the cost of drugs in our area was so high, yet they were not upto standard and the chemists or pharmacy in the area were not up to the required standards as required by the medical and pharmacy board. So I knew due to the diploma course I underwent it would go along way in bring a big change in the area, pharmacy would be upto standard and proper medicines at all times. And by the end of the day my income is between 3000-5000,and at the end of the month I get a net total of 90k per month but after deducting thepharmacy house rent, ligting bill ,water bill and medicines costs due to the constant stocking am left with around 20,000 per month.
First and foremost I would like to thank the zidisha team, due to their support and their constant fiancing they helped me grow to greater heights, total progress in my business but about all a very big change to my life as a whole.
The constant loans helped me a lot becoz they have helped a lot to grow from a small scale pharmacy to a big well stocked job.
I would need your help again in financing my next loan;in that loan plus my savings from my pharmacy I would like to buy a motor bike to help me distribute drugs to my far away clients. And am planning to go on with my pharmacy over the counter ad dispensing of drugs and to buy drugs in large quantities so I would make my business grow more and more to greater heights.
My dream is too buy the motorbike use it to go for my medicines from the distributors then they will reach me in good conditions and good time. Then due to the place I have my pharmacy running most roads are so hard to assess them so with the help of that motorbike my clients will just be a call away and then medicines will be delivered to them on time without delay.
Through this method I know it will strengthen my services to my clients so well.
Once again I say thank you to the zidisha team and be blessed for helping me grow and to reach greater heights. Asante Sana.
If my loan goes through ill add some savings to be enough to purchase a motor bike which coasts 120000kes .am looking forward for your support.
