About Me

my name is Zipporah Wairimu a third born in a family of seven,married and with two children, Joy and Ivan 7 years and 2 years respectively, i come from Nakuru county which is well known for it beauty like: conducive nature,valleys,ranges,lakes,game parks and rivers,also is known for maize,beans,wheat and millet farming.

i was born and raise here where i schooled my primary and secondary level,after completion i joined (B I T) where i studied secretarial and computer courses,i had a passion of studying a lot until i archive my goals but since were not able to pay for my fees i stopped there.with the little education that i had,i decided to look fora hustle where i got a job in a farm where i worked for several years till last year the desire of been my own boss clicked in my mind.

i started doing research on water vending of purified fresh drinking water because where i come from were no fresh water,i come a friend who was willing to help on how to set up a water shop.after giving it a thought i decided to relocate to Nairobi a place called pipeline where its highly populated and no fresh water.

My Business

because of high demand,and with the little money i had i bought a small purifying machine,a tank of 6000 thousand litters water and i rented a small shop,i also bought a tanker of fresh water from my nearby county and from there i started purifying water and i could sell a liter per 00.05$ and in a day i could sell 1000 hundred liters which after sale will give me 50$.

come early this year when the covid-19 pandemic erupted my business was strongly affected as customers relocated to upcountry in fear of covid 19 in the city.my sales drop from 1000 hundred liters to 500 liters in a day i could get 25$.but since things are normalizing i have thought of buying machine and a big tank.

Loan Proposal

if considered to be give a loan,i will use to buy a water purify machine as i have stated since fresh water i have became more demanding in the area i stay.
1)machine is 4000$
2)installation is 500$
3)piping accessories is 500$

Income Source

if given that loan i will do as i have stated since things are normalizing and the demand is still going high since people are getting back to city from village where they had run for the fear of the covid 19,
