Brian,
I started my business about six moths ago. Due to the corona virus however, the economy went low. People's purchasing power was affected. Yet my business had not stabilized. Like any other person with a vision in business, i had to act strategically. I had to increase the services i offered. I thought of lamination and buying a second printer. since my printer is insufficient for bulky printing.Buying a printer to me would mean more efficient service to my clients. The problem was now how to raise the amount to buy a printer. But since i learnt about Zidisha, i thought it will be a nice idea to apply for a loan. Though the income level may not be normal. I believe with the current need for online services especially with the corona virus, i will survive in the market.
Thank you.
I own a cybercafe. Which i started about six months ago. I offer services like browsing, kra returns filling, helb loan applications for kenya university students, printing, photocopy, computer and phone accessories. However i face some little challenges on the printing services, since sometimes i may need to do some bulky printing. But my printer is slow, it cannot accommodate more clients.
Recently, I bought a monitor. My idea was to increase the number of computers in my cyber. Since there was a need to increase the number of computers that could serve the rising number of clients. I will use the current loan to buy a computer system Unit. This will enable me to set up a complete terminal that will help me to serve my clients better. There has been an increase demand on digital services. Sometimes students visit my cyber and take quite sometime to do their assignments. With increased terminals I will be able to serve more clients effectively. Some would not have to leave because they've waited for long and the machines are occupied. With time I will be able to offer even more better services.
The current economic climate is a threat to almost every business. However, my cyber business has been able to survive despite the effects of the current pandemic. One thing for sure, the peoples purchasing power has been jeopardized. But the minimum profits I get are able to sustain the business and will enable me to pay the loan. I try as much as possible to tre
