About Me

As a young man My dad used to keep traditional bee hives and always used to assist him during the process of preparing bee hives from felling of the trees, re trimming them to necessary sizes and furnishing them ready for storage in a very good tree always chosen carefully as the path of bees.

All this activities made me curious in traditional honey business. I still remember with nostalgia my dad doing the harvesting of the honey and the sting of a bee kept me and I siblings excited cause of the experience and sad because of the pain.

My Business

Traditional homey has grate demand in urban centers and that is why am joining zidisha to help me get a loan and start a business of distributing traditional honey.

Honey has many benefits such as medicinal value apart from its delicacy and hence would wish to be involved in the commercialization of the same to ensure I get myself some sort of income in the process via profits inherent in this business. Sales averages ksh 3500 weekly.

Loan Proposal

Honey being a delicacy with medicinal value has great demand especially in towns such as Nairobi,Mombasa and Kisumu among other. My target market is penetrating this towns and curve a niche where I can be selling the honey.
