About Me

My name is Peter Njoroge Gicheru. I grew up in the Miti Mingi Neighbourhood where I started my education and studied from class 1 up to form 4 (Which means I have completed every Secondary School level for those unfamilliar with the Kenyan system). I have started working in Shambas Local, but the wage was not enough to support my family. So later I gathered enough money to buy a motorbike which I use in my Bodaboda (Motorcycle taxi) business. Now I have saved enough to start a local business that sells spare motorbike parts. I use the profit from both businesses to to try and educate my children so that I can offer them more educational opportunities than my father offered me. If I can get more capital, I am very hopeful that I will be able to improve my business so I can educate my children. Thanks people a lot.

My Business

I learnt from my fellow bodaboda dealers that there are many problems that we encounter along the way while serving our customers. I thought of starting a motorbike spare parts shop where I sell things like spark plugs, brake cables, dimmer switches, tyres, tubes, oil, grease, battery waters, and so on. I would be delighted if I could get extra cash to buy more inventory. My business thrives under the notion that, so long as motorbikes are on the road, they will continue buying spare parts from me.

Loan Proposal

I am sure if I get 100 dollars I will be able to buy 40 brake cables at 4000 and one carton of oil at 3200. I will be very glad if you good people fund my loan application. I request zidisha lenders to fund my loan applicatiojn because demand is very high.
