About Me

My name is Kiplangat Koech Isaiah, born 30th April 1990, in the western part of Kenya, Kericho County, ainamoi division, kipchebor location. My life has been such an event full one, either challenges or opportunities. I come from a family of five, me being the eldest, followed by my three sisters and the youngest, a brother. My father is a low income earner and works as a plumber in local water company and my mother a primary school teacher. I completed my high school studies eight years ago and since then, I have never landed in a permanent job to be able to gather my needs. I have worked in various institutions and it has been very challenging, all the areas I have worked with either pay too little or nothing at all, and given the country’s economic status, it is hard to find a permanent and well paying job. Being the eldest in my home, I am faced with a challenge of assisting my parents gather for the needs of my younger siblings as well as mine too. And this has made it difficult for me to progress economically and take my family to the next level. For this reason, I ventured into an agri -business of poultry keeping, both broilers and layers.

My Business

My business is poultry farming. i keep broiler chicken and layers. at the moment i have 200 young broiler chicken and 100 layers. The average production of eggs per day is 70. My main clients are local residents and local hotels. On average, i sell 150 broilers per month each at 5 U.S dollars and 2000 eggs at 3 USD per crate. My business site location is at my home. I established the business with a capital of 167 USD which i acquired from a contract job

Loan Proposal

with the current state of my businesses, which i9i now need more feeds for layers as i wait them to reach production stage. the broilers on the other side are due for sale in three weeks time. the main challenge is feeding both layer s and broilers because they currently require mainly feeds.
the intended use if the loan is as follows:
transport 3USD
feeds 67USD
charcoal 30USD
the interest earned will enable my family to get a surplus of money which we intend to use it in the fees for my other brother and sisters.

To all Zidisha lenders kindly assist me to get the feeds.
