Some 24 years ago a baby boy was born in the heart of Africa, to be more exact in the southern part of Africa, and Zambia being the place of choice the creator chose. It shouldn’t go without being told that it is my country of origin where the mighty Victoria Falls found its place. Just to mention one of the many tourist attractions one can find.
December 5th, this young boy was named Prince Shamambo. This boy is me. Born from a polygamous family was not easy after the death of my mother. In the year 2001 I was only years old and my young sister was only 3years old, by the time mom died. Not to say dad didn't pick up his full responsibility as a father. I have 8 step sisters and 2 step brothers from the same man, which is a very big family, with deep financial hardship after dad retired. And I happen to be the only child who has not attained a full college training due to the financial issues. And I don’t see my sister not going through college till she attains her degree, though she is just finishing her senior secondary level, this year. And this i must do it for her in honor of our mother.
Having kept a very clean academic record since kindergarten, up to my second year first semester, at the university as a student of law, I thought that was the only way society will accept me and offer me a job to get a salary every month. What a great feeling it was. Not until the reality of life kicked in with a blow in my face, that there was not enough funds for all of us still in school by then. It was this moment that without being told, I dropped out of law school, not that I failed any of my exams, but a sacrifice I made for those I deeply care about. Just for them to also have an equal opportunity of completing their senior secondary level.
This I sacrificed for my young sister, dream is coming to life because she is completing this year of 2015, my other step sister who completed last year and finally my brother is graduating with a degree in computer science. In June 2012; I dropped out of law school, what happened next? My business life was born.

My Business

I need to start here with full disclosure: Had never been personally involved in a personal business. But thank God, before mom died, I saw her buying and selling things, and after her death, we moved in to stay with a step mom, who, with no time involved me in some minimal gardening and direct selling of the same garden produce, door to door with my brother. Little did I know this would be one of skills that will help me survive, long after I dropped out of school.
Both where great mothers, from each I lived to learn a lot. From my biological mother; she always wanted me to be a very clear but simple communicator; she did this by making me recite heartfelt poems. Of which today I happen to be a very good public value communicator. From my other mom, I learned how to be a good relationship builder, which is becoming so true today because of the kind of business am involved in.
Later, after dropping out of university, I met a lot of people in search of a piece work job, mostly one that would involve selling in a shop talking to people every day. Until one day I came across an old time high school friend, though not a very close friend by then. Who up to date am still thankful to, for having introduced me to what I stand to call the business of the 21st century. It’s with this business model, that yet again I met a different group of people so willing to help me succeed in life after hearing the side of my story. Here I found myself getting an experience of a real-world business education. A business environment every modern person would call a university of success. Where you learn with the experience of doing what it takes to make it in the world of business.
Since June 2012, I have continued learning under the feet of great people near and far, in the world of business today as it stand. They made me understand that there are many types of businesses, but each comes to make people rich when its time is ripe. Starting from conventional businesses, down to franchising and today direct selling business also known as network marketing.
The people am learning from in the world of business, made it clear by saying, “if am going to be in business, I must be ready to make someone’s life better, by selling to them either a product, service, idea or oneself, or sell everything to them at once then you are in business.”
Now what is this network marketing, am calling my business and what service or products am I selling? And how does it work for someone to call it a business?
This network marketing has been around in various forms since the middle of the last century. The basic idea is as simple as brilliant: instead of spending tones of money on all forms of professional agencies and marketing channels to promote products or services, why not pay the people who love them most just by telling others about them?
That’s what a network marketing company dose: they pay a portion on every sales dollar received back out to their fields of independent representatives, who typically are also the most committed and enthusiastic consumers.
I am an independent distributor of a company, which deals with nutritional food supplements. Having in mind that our physical appearance is a clear indication of our state of health, not sidelining the fact the fact that most diseases have become a lifestyles disease. Obesity being the champion of them all, come the year 2030, will be having at least 2.16 billion people being obese, this was a research conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO). Not only obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, strokes, certain cancers etc, have become life style complications.
It is in this regard that I find myself in weight loss and beauty care business. With products in stock ranging from weight management, digestive health, bone & joint care ,immune booster, personal care, cardiovascular health, sexual health up to anti-aging. With very high projection of sales by mid July 2015, due to the value addition on the health of the consumers. This has lead into building a very healthy distributorship, which is leveraging on each other, this being one of the ideal reasons that make this business model for me, because I have found it to be a business for people who like helping people. Starting from nothing to something. If this loan be granted it will be of great help in terms of massive advertisement in most forms.
Having in mind that these products have profit
margin ranging from 15% to 36%. And the bonuses of 20% on all the consumption caused, provided there is value that is been communicated clearly to people to be a consumer of this product you don’t have to be sick.
With the profits or the proceeds of this business 35% is being saved for my sisters education 50% is being reinvested in the business and the other 15% is being saved for personal development.
With the real life skills I have gained, the loan will be in safe hands for I have learned diversification and leveraging. In brief that is it about my business.

Its almost that time of the year when people make very serious personal health resolution,both active and proactively,which calls or demands for an improved stock yet again on my part to meet demand of the masses .To be bought,will be more combos of the organic food supplements,and some of the money will be used to buy the needed marketing tools for the products.Thank you for your help once again.
