About Me

I have a diploma in business management and a trained secretary. Currently, I have begun a chicken farming business since I inherited a piece of land from my parents. My area of residence is Syokimau which is a big backyard. I started this business after being gifted 3 hens and 2 roosters. I have kept them for a whole year mainly for just eggs for home use. I recently started doing research on chicken farming and I found it to be very lucrative. I have so far expanded it and have a total of 2 roosters, 8 hens and 41 chicks.

My Business

So I plan to expand this business to sell eggs and chicken meat. Currently, I am getting 8 eggs every day which means it takes 4 days for a tray to fill up. So in a week, I have approximately 2 trays of eggs. I thereafter sell the eggs. Each tray fetches $6.50 so in a week I get $13. I spend $6 on feeds which last for two weeks. I also supplement the food with a garden I have in the backyard where they feed on greens. I already have the chicken coop which is spacious and laying points, sickbay in case of sickness. I also have feeders and drinkers. I am looking to get financial assistance to be able to buy more feeds especially for the chicks and also medication that is needed at times. My research showed that for this venture to be profitable, it needs the chicken to be more so that one can get more on eggs.

Loan Proposal

Ritzy Collection is a start-up retail establishment that will sell fashionable clothing to women and children. I do all our selling online and use Facebook as our platform for advertising. This is because there is a lot of competition in this market so if one gets a shop, they will incur more costs which they will push down to clients. This target market was chosen because women tend to buy clothes all the time according to the fashion and fashion keeps changing all the time. Women also tend to buy a lot of children’s clothes impulsively. The average income per week is about $150 which means one has to be able to get new stock every week. It is because of this that I am seeking for additional so as to be able to get new stock each week. I would also like to start giving discounts to loyal customers and well as having a monthly sale for dead stock. I would also like to start advertising using mobile phones by alerting clients of arrival of new stock or whenever there is an end-of-month sale. Since I have been in this type of business for a long time, I have come to know what sells and thus being able to get exactly what the customer wants. I also get clients who pay more when they request you to go and look for a particular item for them. This has also greatly boosted my profit margins. I hope be able to get additional funds and my profile will show that I have been able to pay past loans on time.
