About Me

My name is Patricia Musonda, a Zambian young lady aged 25 years old. I come from a humble background

I live in Lusaka town the capital city of Zambia, in Matero Compound. I completed my primary and secondary education being grade 12. I also hold a Diploma in food production.

I come from a poor family and life has not been easy for me, it has been struggle after struggle until I raised some capital to start up a restaurant business to earn a living and start helping my family.

In our country formal jobs are very scarce hence you need to be created to start up a business to earn money.
Hence I became creative in food production and now a running a restaurant of my own of which I will need extra funds to development the restaurant shop.

My Business

I ran a restaurant business and in the restaurant I sell local foods, such as chickens, fish, cow meat, goat meat, vegetables, nshima, chips, sausages and I also sell drinks to the general public.
After selling I therefore I earn a profit.

These goods are very useful and in demand because most people working around the market during lunch hours they come to buy at my restaurant and it is the only restaurant were they can find readily cooked food and ready to consume.

I choose this business because it is highly profitable and I earn income very day from the daily sales.
This business requires me to have good capital investment to buy bigger pots, serving pans, restaurant tables and chairs.
At the moment I have only one table and two benches were my customers sit and eat their food. I need more extra funds to help me improve my restaurant because the space is enough for to put tables and chairs and allow more customers to buy their preferable food and sit comfortably.

Project Proposal

Am requesting for this to buy new restaurant pots, serving pans, tables and chairs. The restaurant shop has bigger space and I only have one table which have been using at the moment and old pots. Once the loan is raised , it will be very beneficial to me because I will attract more customers to come buy food in my restaurant. As a result my profit will increase and I will expecting 500 ZMW per as compared in the past were I was only making 180/200 ZMW per day as profit.
