About Me

My name is Sternly Katongo and I am Zambian citizen by nationality with a green national registration card.

I am a young and energetic man of 25 years old.

I completed college Diploma successfully because of the efforts and hard work I did put in my studies.

I had to sacrifice for my education by hard working to brighten my future and I was awarded the best student in public administration.

During the days in school and after my graduation I was into gardening of vegetables which made to earn a living to sponsor my self in my education until today.

My Business

I am involved in the gardening of a variety of a vegetables which is main source of income.
I supply these vegetables in supermarkets, main markets places and house to house.

Vegetables are highly in demand and mostly highly consumable, once I harvest them, I take them to market where I sell them and sell very fast and earn my profits in good time.

Gardening is one of the easiest and fastest means of earning income today in Zambia and I choose it because through the earnings, I was able to pay for my school fees, help my family with a decent meals and some of the profits I save for reinvestments and helping siblings to pay also for their primary and necessary education.

Project Proposal

With the funds am raising from this Zidisha loan, I would to buy organic fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides for vegetable farming to get rid of worms attacking the vegetables and other farming inputs to help me in developing my vegetable gardens to have a good harvest. Therefore I will be able to grow more crops for sell and earn more profits. Am anticipating my profits to increase from 4000 ZMW to 8000 ZMW.
