I come from a family of four, just two kids, my big brother and i, we grew up moving around a lot but finally now is when we have settled in Murang'a permanently. I am a degree holder from the university of Nairobi graduated with a bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. I come from a family of self employed people, so i had proper guidance and information on how to run my own business and factors to look into when doing so. I love working with people, Kenyans are a friendly group of people provided they are approached in the right way, so its really easy to make partnerships or get recommendations depending on your business. I love reading novels and doing yoga, I am still a bit of an amateur of the last but for the short amount of time i have done it, I have found it to be very relaxing and its one of the greatest ways to test your limits.
I deal in Real Estate in terms of being an agent in our family run company, which is ran by my dad and I. I sell plots of land, in that we take large chunks of land, subdivide it into eighths, quarters or half acres and after the individual is done with selling, they get their title deeds. Our services are in demand as there has been a boom in the real estate market in Kenya and people are looking for various places to invest their cash. I chose this business as it helps me interact with people, plus I like giving them options on how to better their lives. My costs can range fro Ksh 10,000 to Ksh 100,000 while revenue can range from Ksh 20,00 to Ksh 200,000. I use the profits to reinvest into the company to look for more property to buy, or to do adverts among other operational costs.
Will set up the first deposit of $ 1,500 for the car my brother and I need for the business. This will enable our transport business to be more stable and will ease mobility of people in our community. Our profits will enable us to have steady cash on hand, making life more manageable especially in when one is in a fix, plus the profits will enable us to expand on our business.
