About Me
My name is lucy irungu i was in Nyeri County in a place called chaka . i started school there as from class one to class eight then i proceeded to secondary school which was just near our area.
iam a first born girl of a family of four children. i finished school in 2009 and did not perform well but could not repeat because my parents were not able to pay my fees.
i therefore opted to do business i was lucky my uncle lend some which helped to start the business with. i was lucky to be given a tender at colleges in Nakuru Bahati to supply cereals which i was able to continue up to date. I am a young lady and single. i like reading ,traveling , playing balls and exploring places.
My Business
I do business. I sell foodstuff such as cereals and greens to institutions and schools through school tenders. i usually wait until the schools receive the money from the government for free education and also when the parents pay the boarding fee which is usually spent on buying of foodstuffs. I like selling the above goods people can not do without them. the typical cost depend with season and place some time the cost is high and the other low. I use the profits to upgrade my level of education which up to date i have gone up to diploma level
Loan Proposal
I will buy 10 bags of maize which will cost about 25000 KES then 5 bags of beans which cost 15000 KES then rice of 10,000KES and the remaining will be for greens and transport. I will have to travel around my area looking for the above mentioned commodities. For some i will have to go to town (nakuru) to buy things like rice, green grams, groundnuts , millets wheat and others which are not easily found in our area. i expect to get a 80% profit .
