About Me

I am the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. Asiamah. I was very intelligent during my childhood days, but unfortunately my parents did not recognize girl child education. Due to that, I was only able graduate Junior high school. After my graduation, I started trading with a loan as capital . I also worked at an agro-chemical shop. I saved and used it as my own capital . I am the sole guardian of four children. Two of them are in the University of Cape Cost in Ghana. The remaining two are in the Senior High School. They all want to be health personnel.

My Business

I sell agricultural inputs such as herbicides, insecticides, fertilizer, knapsack sprayers , cutlasses etc. Due the usefulness of agricultural products to human, such inputs are highly demanded. Also I have been working for an ago-chemical company for over ten years so I have acquired the necessary experience in that field of business . Currently, my only source of capital is the profit I gain which is not sufficient for expansion due to my children school fees. I therefore need an affordable loan.

Loan Proposal

I will buy ten cartons of glyphosate weedicide, five cartons of insecticide, five cartons of fungicide which will cost about eight hundred dollars.
This will boost my profit limit and also help me pay my children's school fees.
About twenty five percent.

    I'm very grateful to YOU my lenders and the entire zidisha team as well ever since you started lending me money. My season have now started and to do more and increase my profit, I have to buy more chemicals. One of the companies that I'm working with said if I'm able to buy one container of Agro chemical they will reduce the price for me. They also said I should search for another store for them to brand it for me and sell only their chemical and that was a good opportunity for me. So I think if my loan is giving to me, I will add it to what I have and do more this year. I will send you the photo of the company I'm talking about. The chemicals they gave us and if I'm able to get another store they will do business with me.

    I will buy more of the Agro chemicals to maintain my customers.Because of my shortage in Paraquat my customers do go to different stores to purchase them, the money will help me buy more Paraquat. And this will help me gain some profit to pay my children's school fees and also pay their hostel fees and what they will eat as well.     I am thanking my lenders for their loan. It helped me a lot. I purchased more goods before price increase. It helped me to accrue a profit of 30 percent. I used the profit to cater for my children's education .

    And very interestingly my children were back from the school they said Mum, we did some small job at the school so have this money, receive this money to pay your zidisha loan. I added all the money and it was GH 500 . They said i should use it to pay the loan that is why i paid this amount recently.

    Hi lenders. I am writing to appreciate the support you've given. I received GHS1000. I purchased additional brands of herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers and added it to my stock.
