Am first born of a family of five. Born, Raised and went to school in the city for pretty much of my education life. My dad was a civil servant, while mum was a house wife who passed on when i was still a child. Dad had to remarry again a housewife.By the time i was getting to college life my dads age of retirement had come and I have had to work extra to ensure all my siblings behind me get an education that will sustain them in future.
Am glad they have all achieved college education. It hasnt been easy though, it been trial here and there and loans here and there.
I have tried so many things, done juice business, opened a play station games shop for kids, tried sugarcane farming, now am into poultry, maize, and dairy farming things that i naturally love.
While my passion for agriculture remains, I have also bought land with intention to open shops as part of different revenue streams and assist me educate my siblings.
I have seen an opportunity in the uber/taxify/little cab business which i also want to try.
One of my unique hobbies is reading biographies of people who have made it from zero. I teach my children to think business, I would love for them to create opportunities and employ people.

My intended business is to join my car into the mobile taxi platform. I have purchased a vehicle engine 1.3 litres which i want to enrol into the uber business.

The average expected pay from daily collection is 20 dollars. Per month (25days) collection is 500 dollars.

The loan amount will assist me buy feeds for the chicken am rearing that are almost mature and ready for sale.
I have 300 indigenous chicken that am rearing. They consume 1/2 of a bag of meal cumulatively each day.
It takes 6-8 months for the chicken to mature and be ready for sale.
Each bag of meal goes for $12.
In an entire month I spend $ 185-200 on meals only. Other costs are labour and water buying for cleaning and drinking for the chickens.
The birds I have are 8 months and are ready for sale.
December being a festive season this is when sales are high and prices good.
With the loan am getting I shall be able to provide feeds for the corks/hen that will remain as i continue selling.
The loan amount will assist me get additional bags of meals.
The market price for mature chicken is about $8. For 300 chicks sold i expect $2400. If I minus my expenses the profit is about $600-800.
This amount I wish to reinvest all of it and redo a new cycle of rearing chicken and implement lesson learnt in current cycle. I wish also to expand it to 1000 chickens to rear and earn more. Eventually the plan is to be a supplier of indigenous chicken in my area, both meat and by product thus assisting me stabilize my immediate and assist my sibling finish their schooling.
