About Me

I am 25 year old and my name is Metrine Barasa . I am the third born in a family of 8 children . I went schooled up to o-levels and did not join college due to financial constraints. I stayed at home jobless since I could not get a good job with my level of education. I really wished I could have my own business but lack of capital made the dream impossible. I final decided to work as a house help to raise money for the business. I earned $40 per month as a house-help and since i was given food and cloths I manged to save $20 per month after sending some money for my parents. after a year with $240 savings . I decided to quit the job and start my own business. I had always desired to sell cloths. I bought one bale of second hand cloths for women and sold it with one week . I bought another and reinvested my profits back to the business. I am still expanding the business and my dream is selling second hands cloths in wholesale.
my child is 2 years old and is called melvin. He is always curious and I am looking forward to have a doctor son.
I am a social and outgoing woman.I love helping other people in anyway possible as long as I am in position to do so.

My Business

I sell second hand cloths . I buy the bale and sale it in retail to my clients. I like selling women and children cloths because the women are always concerned about what they wear than men. Women tend to buy more cloths that men.
The need for cheap and affordable clothing has kept rising due to hard economic times. most families prefer decent second hand cloths.
I choose the business because it is easy to manage and the goods are moving . it is easy to sell.
my costs average per month is $300 and my monthly income average per month is $500.
I spend the profits in paying fees for my sibling, supporting my old parents and taking care of my family.

Loan Proposal

Good morning to you lenders. I am pleased to borrow $150 to expand my business through introduction of children shoes. most mothers are impulse buyers and I believe when they buy cloths would buy the shoes for the kids. I expect revenues to increase by50%. Thank you in advance

If you're struggling to pay your installments, please contact the Zidisha team and ask them to reschedule them to a lower amount over a longer period, then you can increase them again when you are earning more money. This will stop you getting a bad repayment history.
    God bless you,
    Wendy
