About Me

I was born and raised up by a single mother. I couldn't afford proper education but by sheer struggles and determination I vowed never to accept to be bound by chains of poverty. I left the village to a nearby town to try to make a life. I met a friend who introduced me to her line of business( cloth selling). after a few years of working under her I decided to launch my own business using the little money I had saved from my salary. I set up a small cloth shop which I run up to now as a sole proprietor.

My Business

I sell 2nd hand clothes. my goods are very important since I live in a community which is impoverished and can not afford first hand clothes. I am therefore able to a attend to their clothing needs which is a basic human need. I chose this type of business because I had learned a few trade skills in this line from my friend whom I initially worked for. I basically use 30 thousand Kenya shillings to purchase a bale of clothes from an importer after every month. in return I get a profit of 20 thousands after sale of each bale.I use profits raised to restock my business and cater for my family needs.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders,
My consignment of second hand clothes is stuck at a godown at the inland port of mombasa. If I secure the above amount, I will add to the much that I have been able to obtain from other sources and use the money to clear a storage fee arrears of 450 US dollars before my consignment is released to me.
Lenders, clothing is a basic need which not so many people in my location can get, my goods are of benefit to others alot since I reside in a low income society hence J will be able to continue providing classy second hand clothes at an achievable price to them. They will hence be able to save more fore their other basic needs.
I expect that in return I will be able to reap an after sale profit of about 750 US dollars. Kindly help me help myself and my community at large. Thanks in advance
