About Me

I grew In a family of six siblings being the second born used to see my parents working really hard to raise us. Most of the time we used to be left with our mom only while our father who used to travel alot in our neighbouring country doing small business. My mom used to engage in different business especially selling food to support us too

. I finished high school n went to college. Got married and i have six children. I managed to get a loan which i started my business. I also work as a secretary at the national museums of Kenya.

The town I live was a bit conversative where women were not used to work, but now we are all out there n working hard just like men. My community is friendly n very supportive.

Well my first three kids they all want to do medicine my firstborn is already doing it and my twins who are my second have just finished high school still waiting for their university calling letters. My last three are still young to know what they want to be when they grow up.

My main hobby is to make new friends and my business is helping meeting lots of people which I enjoy it to the maximum. My other hobby is to cook especially for my family n they love my food.

My Business

i usually buy clothes from a neighboring country and come n sell in my country. I make a good profit out of it. I sell ladies clothes, shoes for kids n adults, handbags, perfumes, jewellery imitations, bedsheets. Cosmetics. My main sale is the ladies cosmetics clothes an jewellery, because the womenbin my town they like to dress up nnlooking good all the time so my business is always in high demand .

I chose to do this business beacause am a lady and mostbof my clients are ladies sonthe comfortable with me and they love my taste n fashion it tallies with theirs. I also feel comfortable dealing with fellow women.

In a year i usually travel three times to buy my stock n I spend like kshs 150,000. N my monthly revenue collection is around kshs 60,000, which I save some for my next trip n other I help in school fees mostly.

i mostly travel to tanzania to buy my stock. Once I travelled to Dubai, which I hope to do it again when i have enough funds.

My income come from my salary, the profits from my business and also from my husband, the profit I make mostly goes back to inventory but I also help in school fees. Especilly now they are growing up and need to go for higher education.

Loan Proposal

I will buy makeup, jewellery n perfumes which might cosst US dollars 100.

The profit I make out of this will benefit my business n my family also my clients will have new products.

I set of jewellery cost 2 dollars andni sell it at 10 dollars. So in i will spend 30 dollars on jewellery. After selling will get a total of a 150 dollars

Perfumes cost 8 dollars n I sell it at 18dollars n will spend 40 dollars on purchasing the stock. After selling will get a total of 90 dollars

Makeup cost 3 dollars and I sell it at 15 dollars n will spend the remaining 30 dollars on it. After selling will get 150 dollars

So the grand total after my sale will have 390 dollars my profit here will be 290 dollars. With this I can increase my stock and pay back my loan smoothly. Thank you
