About Me

My names are Abigael Birine M Nyachwaya , I am a married woman with one husband Vincent Momanyi. we have 4 children and 3 are in school in a private school. I was born Kisii South District, Gucha In Kisii Town. I am business woman selling secondhand clothing's (Mitumba) situated at Kisii daraja Mbili market opposite Kisii Industrial Area in Kisii county. I completed my College Level in Egerton University in 2003 as Secretary, thereafter I joined Kenya Education Partnership (NGO) from UK and worked for 8 years although the payment was less. Year 2010 I started my own business of Selling clothes and designs in the year 2010. This is the year my husband got road accident and broke both his legs, and forehead and he stayed in hospital for long till 2011 and my business had to sustain the family although I had to use even my stock, so later my husband came home from hospital and I had to feed him and the kids till he started to gain his health with crutches. in 2012 I resumed my business again but with a few stock as I still cannot manage to get the full bales of clothing's.

My Business

My Business is located in Kisii County at Dara Mbili Market, Monday and Thursdays. I also prefer to do my business moving office to office in government offices during weekdays when not a market days, and also house to house where my customers are located. The business is profitable and that is why I want to increase my stock so that my customers can have a variety to choose to buy.

In My business I sell ladies and kids clothing's which are quick selling as men's clothing's are not that much marketable since man's don't purchase clothing's all the time as women and kids.

The risks to the business are their when you sell a clothing on credit whether be house to house or office to office, this due when you customer who you sold cloth on credit goes fro transfer or leave and sometimes other run away without paying or others refuse to pay the agreed amount during the credit note sell.

Loan Proposal

Dear all my potential lenders I am very much thankful for the previous loans that have so far taken from Zidisha and I have see my business progressed so much although recently my business went due to sickness which is beyond my control.

I am now applying for a loan as we are approaching Christmas season that i want to add more bales of clothing's which wanted to get at least 4 bales but my credit limit was decreased to 8586 which am now going to get one bale of clothing at KES 9,000 and now am requesting my lenders to support me raise my loan in time if possible before Christmas.

Thank you all my lenders and wish you a Merry Christmas.
