About Me

My name is Jane Nachola, born in Kakamega County. A first born in a family of four, two boys and two girls. I grew up in small scale farm, which our parents used to educate us up to high school education, since they were not able to pay our fees. Then my uncle took over ad pay my fees up to college level where I studied hair dressing and beauty and later he gave me a job in his salon/beauty shop, just few meters from where I stay. After gathering enough experience while saving money, I opened my own beauty shop and salon. I have employed one girl who is helping me and making sure that no customer is living the shop with no complains.

My Business

I started this business 1 year ago with a capital of Ksh10, 000. I make customer’s hair I also do manicure and pedicure and sell men’s socks,underwear,panties both children and adult and bra .I chose this kind of business it’s my profession and also no matter what the situation, people have to make their hair, do their nails and look beautiful. The business has an income of Kshs15, 000 a month. I usually save Ksh5, 000 every month and the remaining I use to pay my business rent and school fees for my kids. In future I would like to offer a massage services to my clients.

Loan Proposal

Dear Zidisha Team ,I thank you so much for the loan you gave me which I have just completing paying. I am requesting for another loan which will boost my business and make more profits. I want to introduce umbrellas,gumboots,heavy jackets,raincoat and heavy woolen socks.All these new products is on demand now since we are on rainy season.The profits which will come out of here will be used to pay for my children school fees and also save .I hope you will fund my loan 100 percent.Once again thank you.
