About Me

I am Ciciliah the second born in family of four,3boys and one girl,i was born in the coastal parts of kenya by my loving parents,my childhood environment was serene with a lot of kids playing togethe, i use to play football with my brothers and helping mom do house chores like cooking something i like the most, fetching water and firewood, there was division of labour, as brothers go hunting and herding with my late dad,we would at times go to the shamba during ploughing season and weeding on holidays we found it tough but we learnt a lot and it was very exciting,we would wake up very early in the morning on school days, prepare ourselves take porridge and then embark on a 2km journey to school barefooted, everything was nice until dad passed away when i was 6years old,his death took away our happines and as we were coming to terms with his death my elder brother's death followed ,he was bitten by a snake and died from snake poison, this left us even more shocked and confused ,i was left with the duty of an eldest child and even more burdens followed when my mom became sickly due to the devastating shock of those two deathes,we suffered a lot in terms of school fee and other basic needs and by Gods grace with the help of good samaritans and relatives we were able to finish primary school and even enrolled in high school, i got a sponsor who offered to pay for myfull high school fee, this enabled me to sit my KCSE and i got a grade B-,my two brothers arent through with school as they depend on manual jobs for fee they are always on and off with school,i got a job with the Brooks family as a house maid, job tha i did wholehearteadly because it was the only source of income and an income that use to help the whole of our family, when i decided to quit they gave me 50000ksh as an appreciation forbeing so good and competent on my duties ,thats when i decided to join college and continue with my studies,i know that i can go as far as i can think and with this loaning platform i am i am sure to accomplish my dreams of expanding my business when i will get larger loan, educate myself and even my brothers generaly improve the families livelyhood

My Business

I am a full time student doing diploma in human resource management at Kenya institute of management.l normally go to school from Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, besides being a student I deal with clothes second hand (mitumba) and sometimes new ones.l normally wake up at 5.00am go to gikomba market to do my daily purchase of clothes before going to school. Demand for my products is high because my customers are very close friends, neighbors, classmates, schoolmates and even tutors.am glad that i have met most of my customers needs because I deal in unique products, being unique has earned me many refferals and that is how I have grown from from a stock of 1000ksh to 6000ksh in a span of three months. I am determined to go far and even start a boutique outside school.l choose this kind of business because its flexible as it allows me time to study stress free.
Like I said above am a partial orphan with an aging mum at home and being the only daughter I have the obligation to give back the little I have from my daily profits of 600ksh.I am able to help mum meet a few of her basic needs and remain with a little to help me put my food on the table and sort out rent at the end of the month.l am hopeful that one day I will help her in a bigger way especially when I expand my business and also when I am successfully through with collage.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to pay for my school fee ,collage fee has been a very big challenge to me especially because of our poor financial background ,paying fee will give me lots of time studying this will enable me improve om my studies and also help me concentrate on my side hustle business,am very hopeful that my profits will increase from the current 600ksh to 800ksh per week after investing the amount that would remain after paying a fee of 14000ksh

2 partial payments made, then no updates or payments for 18 months. Loan appears abandoned. Poor experience.
