About Me

i was born in eldoret town.
i attended arya nursery school then later went to hill school for my primary school education.later joined nakuru high school for my secondary school education.i joined strathmore university for my bachelors degree in computer science.
i opened my own tech startup where i make apps nad design websites for my clients.
i got a little amount from my parents to start the business called toony tech.
i would like my children to be succesful people in the society
i take programming or coding as a hobby
in the coming days,i am planing to take an extra course in agriculture.
its the backbone of our economy and i would like to be part of agri economics

My Business

my business name is TOONY TECH.
i make apps and programmes and a stated fee.i also design websites for clients,and offer tech consultations
my services and very high in demand,the world we live in runs on technology
i chose technology because i have passion and also its my hobby
to design a website,i charge 15000 kes that is $150 per website. and charge 20000kes that is $200 to make apps for clients
i use my profit for re-investment for my tech startup
i also have two employees who help me in my startup
I also have two dairy cows whereby i sell milk at $0.5 usd per litre for extra income
I also have small farm where i grow cucumbers and kales where i sell them at the market in order to get extra income

Loan Proposal

With the loan given, i am going to complete developing this phenomenal agricultural
management software that i am working on. i will name it AGROTEC from the name agriculture and technology. I am a Bsc(Information technology) graduate and a very great software developer.
Total amount used in this project will be $500. i have already raised $330 from different sources and i am in need of $170 USD.
I come from a very agricultural rich area,where cucumbers ,tomatoes,spinach,kales,maize,wheat,barley and many grains are grown. its also a very rich dairy farming region.its called the rift valley province. everyday,produce from farmers go bad since they cant access the buyers,and this software is going to sove that solution.
Its going to be a mobile based software,and a web-based software.
Right now,a smartphone is as cheap as $10 in kenya and these farmers can easily access the smartphone

The software is going to
1.-connect the farm produce vendor and the buyer when the farmer posts his produce on the app
2.-The software will calculate the total cost the farmer needs in his budget
3.- The software will help the farmer predict the weather so that they can plan their activities accordingly as the software will have connection to the meteorological department
4- The software will connect the farmer to the farm inputs vendors,so that he can choose which vendor suits him
5-.The software will monitor inventory and analysis for the farmer,this will help the dairy farmer monitor his cows population,and the quality of pasture,estimate spawning projections, and determine optimal harvests.
6.-The software will give farmers the ability to track their expenses in greater detail and view the cost of producing individual farm produce and whole populations of farm animals
7.-The software is going to keep record of cashflow
8-With the record of cashflow in check,the farmer can produce the record in banks and access the bank agricultural loan
9-The software will also Record customer and supplier transactions
The software is going to be a game changer in agriculture here in my country

The software will cost the farmer as cheaply as $30 USD, for the app and pc software. in,my region we have approx 200,000 farmers.in my region alone. if on a minimum 10,000 farmers purchase the software, that is going to be $300,000.
That is enough for me to produce more softwares like for aquaculture,,employ more people,pay my zidisha loan, and help me expand my startup which i am positive will grow.
