About Me

In my early childhood education, i went to local primary school by the name Witima Primary School. I used to walk to school bare footed, very early in the morning, in the chilling coldness. Having breakfast in the morning was not a guarantee but all the same we were thankful to God for the little that we had. Despite all the odds being against me, i put all the effort i could in my education and proceeded to High School where my education was financed by the well wishers. Going through the High School system was not easy and many are the times I was getting chased out of school for non-payment of the tuition fee. After high school, I managed to get a bursary from our Constituency Development Fund (CDF) and i joined a Government college where i did a Diploma in Computer Networking. After completing my Diploma, I applied for a job in several companies and industries but didn’t manage to get one. I had to do odd jobs to survive and support my sisters as well. It’s from these jobs that I managed to save some money in a Sacco that I joined and I got a loan from the Sacco which I used to start my business. Our culture does not put much emphasis on the education of a girl child and that is why I work hard to see that my two sisters attain education too. I would wish to see my children become successful professionals in their preferred areas of specialization and make a positive change in people’s lives. Besides business, I love watching football and playing chess.

My Business

Dear Lenders. My business entails photocopier services, typing, printing, scanning and lamination services besides selling other goods. My business is situated near a private college and demand for my services is quite high from the students in the nearby college. Students bring a lot of handouts to photocopy and notes to be typed and printed. Most of my expenses are in buying of consumables like blank papers for photocopy and printing, cartridge for the printer and staple pins for the stapler. Other operating costs go into payment of power bills, rent for business space and renewal of trading license. On an average the total income of my business is around Ksh 45,000 (Approx $ 440) and total expenditure is around Ksh 19,000 (Approx $ 180) leaving me with a profit of around Ksh 26,000 (Approx $ 255). I use part of the profit to boost the business and the rest to support my family.

Loan Proposal

The following are the materials I want to buy with my new loan:
• 1 Roll of CAT 6 communications cable
• 1 Crimping tool and about 100 RJ 45 connectors &
• One wireless and router
These materials are going to help me in completing a project that I’m undertaking of setting up a cyber cafe for my client.
I wish lenders would support me in making this purchase so that I can meet the expectations of my client by delivering the project on time.
I thank you in advance.

Hello Lenders. I wish to buy a binding and a lamination machine to use in my photocopy business. This will help me serve my customers conveniently without having them to go and look for those services elsewhere. Thank you very much for the support I have received from you so far, I appreciate and I pray that you continue supporting us.

Dear Lenders. I used my last loan to buy one wireless n router and a roll of CAT 6 communication cable to do an installation for one of my clients. That loan helped me in a great way since i didn't have some money to buy the materials and my client would only pay after the job has been done. Thanks a lot for coming to my rescue at my hour of need.

    Dear Lenders,
I am deeply obliged to you for the financial help you have extended to me in time of dire need. I was hard pressed for it and I had tapped almost all sources. I cannot express my gratitude in just few words. I now have a domain & a website for my business.
I thank you sincerely since this has increased my market reach through web presence and I have started receiving calls from customers in various places. The business is growing fast and the future looks bright.
Once again thank you so much for help you offer and continue to offer and may God bless you.

Hello Guenter, everything is ok. I'm very much sorry for the lateness, i've been in very remote part of our country for quite some time where there are no M-pesa agents. I've made my payments today and i'm now up to date. Thanks a lot for your concern and i hope my apology will be accepted.
