About Me

I am Baffoe-Kyeremeh Amos, born to Mr. and Mrs Kyeremeh, from Berekum in the Brong-Ahafo region of Ghana. I am 27 years of age.
I completed my basic education in 2004 at Methodist Primary and Junior High School in Biadan a suburb to the town aforementioned, from where I furthered to read general science in Berekum Senior High. Despite the difficulties in finances, my parents with the help of my teachers helped me to enroll into the University in 2010 where I earned my bachelors degree in Environmental Health and Sanitation Education with first class division in 2014.
With the current unemployment situation in my nation, I decided to raise some money to get something doing for myself and accordingly decided to save some money from the little I earn from my voluntary service as a service person which I started in 2014.The establishment of a Nursing Training School in my town of service-Sampa led me into conceiving the idea of setting up a cyber cafe where students will likely patronize to access information for their course work. With the little money I had raised, I purchased three desktops to start a cyber cafe to serve as a security hoping to lean on it especially after my soon ending voluntary service where the chance to secure employment is highly infinitesimal.
My hobby anyway, is reading research papers and I'm hoping to further my education in this regard should my business boom and become a reliable and sustainable source of income .

My Business

My business is actually a cyber cafe which serves the public by making the internet accessible to them. A price is charged per unit time ,that is GHC 0.5(approximately 0.2 dollars) per thirty minutes of internet access.
I chose this business with the prior knowledge of the establishment of a tertially institution( Nursing Training College) in this community, however the cashew season has drawn more people into the town both foreigners and other Ghanaian indigens who highly patronize my services and I'm able to make GHC 10-to-GHC 30 (About 2.52-to -7.6dollars )a day out of GHC 120(about 30.3 dollars) worth credit bundled(10G) for at most a month. Implying a minimum of GHC160(4.36 dollars) profit is made at the end of the month.
I wish to extend my services by purchasing more computers that will be used for games by children who come in here in quest for such services and a printer and a photocopier machine to incorporate printing services in my business.I hope these will also serve to increase the realm of my income source in the cafe.

Loan Proposal

I will like to use this loan to by additional desktop machines and a printer to increase accessibility in my cybercafe. These desktop machines will cost about 50.50 dollars (a unit) and a printer around 50.0 dollars.
This is intended to make my cafe accessible to more customers and also to avoid congestion the premises .
All things being equal I expect that this machine will maximize profit of not less than 8.8 dollars a week
