About Me

Am Eligah nyabuto from eldoret a region in the rift y valley parts of kenya, I was born in Nyanza province later transfer to rift y valley in search of employment.
I went to Kebirigo primary school, cardinal Otunga girls high school and Eldoret polytechnic.
After polytechnic i decided to hold back in Eldoret town and search for employment i late was employed as a cleaner at supermarket.
I later got married and joined my husband in farming we own a 6 acre piece of land were 2 acres is for crop farming and the rest for lease.
I love Eldoret and the culture of my husband i have learned kipsigis language though it was not easy but i can now speak both my language and husbands language in fluent.

My Business

I practice small scale farming for a living, i plant kale's, maize and cabbages for sell this season i have had issues with money and have not utilize my farm well.
I found a passion for farming after my neighbor bought a new lorry from sell of tomatoes this encouraged me so much. I opt to save enough capital and one day plant tomatoes as my neighbor is willing to show me the market place and customers.
On good plantation and harvest i make an average of 200 to 250 us dollars a month.
I put back my profits to the farm to cater for next plantation and support of family basic needs.

Loan Proposal

Given the loan of 203 us dollars am going to build a storage facility that will enable me store my farm produce,
This will cost me 195 us dollars and the materials i will buy is timber, nails, iron sheets, posts, door inches, and lab-our for the carpenters.
I incurred from a carpenter he gave me a list of materials and all the quotation that was 195 us dollars so with this loan i am going to fully build the store and pay my carpenters.
Once i have a store when i will harvest my produce will be in safe place waiting to sell at high price.
Thank you.
