About Me
I am the young man aged 27, single, born in a family of four - all boys. Grown up in a family that most of the years survived on a dollar per day - I finished my high school with difficulties at Chadiza Day Secondary School in Chadiza District, a mountainous district. Due to financial difficulties, I was affected and I passed but on average rate. After I finished my high School I went to driving school with the plan to look for employment as a driver after the course and later on go back to school and rewrite in some of the subjects that I did not do well. But its been difficult to find employment as a driver. My parents have been very helpful, they have been very supportive to me until finally I came across this great opportunity from Zidisha. My desire have been always to do business, when I was introduced to Zidisha I did not hesitate, but to organise myself and apply for a loan from Zidisha.
My Business
My plan when I am funded from Zidisha I want start selling cooking oil in bottles. Cooking oil is always on demand due to the fact that it is used in so many food preparation and baking. I chose this business because I have experience and so many sources in this type of business. When this business is successful upon being funded, I plan to go back to school and rewrite the subjects that I did not do well. And part of the profits will help me to prepare for marriage, and help my mother in some home necessities and also help in to grow the business.
Loan Proposal
My plan is to start selling cooking oil in bottles on retail. The budget for this business is broken down as follows:
1. 4 X 20 liters of cooking oil = $120
2. Stand = $35
2. Transport = $10
I expect to make $50 profit per month out of this business.
And this business will greatly help me upgrade my education and prepare for my marriage.
