About Me

My childhood dreams of being an entrepreneur are haunting me now than before. I have always worked hard to achieve my dreams of becoming a world's number one Agribusiness Engineer. Having successfully completed my university education I now takes it up to realize my dream.
While at college I engaged in chicken rearing and thus I kept my dream closer to me than before. I did gain some profits gradually. My academics demanded a lot so I could not carrying my business of rearing chicken for sale that I engaged in, but I saved the profits when I did quit.
I moved to Nairobi the capital city to start life after my university education just like many other youth in my country can do; move to towns and major cities in search of jobs. Life was not cheap as I thought, but with my merger saving of 20,000ksh. I did rent a small room near the CBD where I set up a cyber kind of shop. I could type-set assignments for students and print it as well.
I am the kind that works effortlessly while am healthy. I love adventure as well as learning something new before the sun sets down.

My Business

The major work that I am involved in my day to day activities is printing, scan, photocopying, lamination and binding.
The services are useful because, the population here is mostly composed of the students, these students need to photocopy or scan notes, print assignment and even bind the assignments and certificate. Sometimes they will also need to laminate some of their certificates. Hence these services are really necessary and are need daily by the students and other people.
The reasons why I choose on this business are: It was the easiest and cheapest to start with the 10000 shillings that I had saved. There was also not business like such in my business location, students had to walk long distances to get these services. Another reason is, this kind of business has a readily available market, the student population.
Per day the minimum I can get from this business is 100 shillings especially in times when the students are out of session. And the maximum is 500 shillings in examination times or project presentation dates.
The profit that I get, I save about 20% daily, the rest I use to pay for my bills, that is, rent of the business premise and for my accommodation, Buy food and the remainder goes into the Miscellaneous account. For the saving, I plan to use them there later to set up a large business with more variety of goods and services provision. This may include a cyber and there much latter café where people will get a drink as they surf.

Loan Proposal

I intend to purchase a binder that costs $40.40. This will help my customers who have been paying dearly for a similar services at exploitative prices. I will have more clients which will result to profit increase of up to 60% monthly.
