About Me

I am a graduate on full time employment. Invested in dairy farming currently with 5 Dairy cows averaging 15 litres per day in milk production. Also I do vegetable farming I a quarter of an acre plot.
I sell my vegetables to my neighbors with an average sales of Ksh. 200 per day.
To minimize cost most of the farm activities are done by my family members

My Business

My current income source is from my salary, dairy farming and vegetables farming.
I do sale my milk to neighbors and to informal market by Ksh. 35 per litre. This gives me a income of Kay. 2,600 per day.
To reduce cost of feeds I plant my own maize which I use to do silage on 2 acre of land.

Loan Proposal

To support my dairy farm I planted maize to be used I silage production. This will reduce the cost of production in my farm because i will not be purchasing alot of feeds.
This loan will be used to buy CAN fertilizer for top dressing to ensure health maize for quality silage.

Income Source

With the current situation of covid pandemic my business will earn me money through sell of milk to my neighbors and in informal market. Milk is a basic need to my community because it's food.
I also support from sale of vegetables which currently I'd not doing bad.
