About Me

My name is Techela, i was born and raised to a family of seven children.
Being the third born I was the one who was educated amongest the other children,My dreams was to achieve in life, I was always focused to achieve my dreams.
Unfortunately it was not easy to achieve.
I thank God that the challenges I faced was a wake up call, I struggled and worked hoping to achieve my dreams.

My Business

My business and interest is in dairy farming, I started dairy farming in the year 2019, however I faced challenges and issues.
Our operation need to increase net farm income to a sustainable level for future generation.
We need to insure our cattles so avoid any risk that might arise,we are at an agent need to plant and generate our own feeds as a way to reduce the cost of production and enhance animal feeds to increase our production and manage our animals health.
Once we meet this needs our purpose is intended to serve as a farm oparating under minimal cost and develop a farm net cash flow that we will use as a benchmark for tracking our progress in meeting our financial goals.
We will expand our heard on planned basis by raising our own replacements.
We are looking at an advice from my elder son to join a dairy board
improvement association and to develop a software system that will help in keeping records an monitoring our heard to better manage our growing heards and market analysis in regards to profit made each month.
We shall put our team to work hard on how we can sell at low prices but maintain our profits as away to empower our retailers and maintain our customers.
Based on our previous manual records, from 2019 when we started our farm two pedigree heifers and a bull to 2022 we have been spending 164 Usd on a single cow projecting to 1148 Usd from all the seven cow acquired within the period.
We have been able to make a profit of 351 Usd from a single cow which translate to 2460 usd in a month.
If we remove our expenses which is 1148 Usd minus 2460 Usd which is our profit we have been able to make 1312 Usd in a month.
Unfortunately the net worth operations as increased to double the amount we used to incur in a month and reduced the profit we use to make in a month by 20%.
This lead to immediate actions, As away to tackle this challenge our main aim is to recover the loss and generator more income,
We had to research on the main reasons that led to the drastic loss and work on changing the strategies that lead to the recovery of previous loss and generate more revenue under the tough circumstances that lead to the lose.
We took COVID 19 for granted but it's the main reason for for the change of strategies and loss that we incurred, the affected our sales compromised our business and raise cost of feeds due to transportation cost.
Our resolution this year was to fight the challenges have encountered all along us away to provide high quality milk that will generate more income for our family which consist of our team me the father my son who is a agronomist and my wife a supervisor who she is a business lady.
Our key players in our business are our advisors and veterinary doctors who plays the bigger roll in managing and treating our animals.
I thank them for their consistensy in selling our milk adding value by using our milk to provide a nutritious yoghurt that is selling at high rate, may God bless you and may you join our team towards generating more revenue and empowerment of the community.

Project Proposal

I will use the money to buy more supply of dairy meal feeds to supplement our grass feeds.
