About Me

Raised by a single parent from rural central Kenya had to work pastime to boost school fees. I have an Undergraduate degree in Communication and am employed on permanent basis. Started rearing chicken and dairy cows to supplement my income. I love reading Scottish historical novels and hope to visit Scotland one day.

My Business

the milk from the dairy cows is sold to Brook-side company and in Kenya milk is always in demand. However fodder is very costly. On a low month i earn Kshs 16,000 from the cows against a general cost of Kshs 10,000. The chicken have no continuous income but are in great demand during holiday seasons.

Am hoping to save enough to expand the dairy farming and also raise money to study for a masters degree in communication.

Loan Proposal

I intend to buy fodder (napper grass and hay) as well as salt lick. Napier grass for one month can go for 200 dollars and salt lick around 100 dollars, this should ease the burden of feeding the cows for one month. The rest of the money will be used to buy hay which cost 5 dollars per bale your assistance would be highly appreciated
