About Me

Professionally i did information technology and currently am working with Nairobi Institute of Information technology as an Instructor teaching IT courses. In addition to that i normally do part time training of the same courses in the evening. Due to high demand my clients (student) number is growing and forcing me to have a need of hiring a premise which will enable me to conduct my training s ,am also supporting two orphaned boys back at home in terms of paying there school fees and due all these responsibilities i can not afford to raise cash of hiring a comfortable and conducive premise for conducting my training s. I started part time training s to enable me generate additional income. The earning from my part time training has really supported me especially in raising in raising school fees for the boys am educating in addition to my monthly salary from employment.

My Business

I have been doing par-time training for IT courses (packages and sometimes professional courses) for now six months as a means of obtaining additional income but due high demand am seeing it as an upcoming good business. The only challenge i am currently facing is that i don't have a central place of doing it therefore i train my clients (students) from their homes using my laptop. This has forced to think of setting up a good premise whereby i will be able to train a group of students which will save my time and ease my training, the only challenge is that i can not raise the money of hiring a premise due the responsibilities i have that is why am requesting for your assistance. With your support Am looking forward to; first hiring a training premise then slowly buying computers and later expanding this idea to setting up a big quality IT college which will generate good income as a business.

Loan Proposal

Hi Zidisha and Lenders. As per my profile i still work with Nairobi Institute of Information & communication Technology as a trainer and Head of Administration and doing farming at my farm. Before venturing into farming i used to do part time IT training on my own which was doing well and even i had started buying computers from the loan i got from Zidisha and returns from the business but unfortunately the training room i had hired was broken into and i lost my equipments. Currently i have 1 acre tomato project running almost at harvesting stage. I irrigate my farm using a small water reservoir i dug and placed a polythene paper in it so that it can hold water, the problem with polythene is that it is weak and doesn't last for long. Another challenge is that my dam is small therefore the water contained in it can not irrigate my farm at once because of its size, what i do is that i irrigate half of the land then wait for the reservoir to be full to irrigate the remaining half this is really challenging but its working. I am planning to expand my project to do up to 3 acres as from next year and therefore i have started expanding my water reservoir so that it can hold more water approximately 80,000-100,000 litres. I am requesting for loan to enable me buy a dam liner which will fit to my newly expanded dam and to replace the polythene i have been using because dam liner is stronger and can last for 5 years, with this in place i will comfortably expand my project and comfortably irrigate my 3 acres of land with much ease. Apart from tomato project i have a small portion of the land contains kale (vegetable) which are sold on daily basis and can fetch a minimum of kshs 200 per day with this returns i can comfortably repay my loan without struggling. In the loan long run the tomato project is very profitable and can raise a minimum of kshs 200,000 per acre after every 5 months. I will really appreciate your assistance to fund my project. Than in advance.

Got some challenges with water supply therefore had shortage of water for irrigation. This has really affected my crops which is my main source of income because i am no longer employed. Its now rainy season and i believe i would be able to stock enough water in my dam once again.

Hi Zidisha and lenders .I am happy to report to you that my construction went through very well. I now have plenty of water to expand my horticulture farming. I am now preparing to start my next tomato project early February. I am very excited because if it were not for your support this project would not have succeeded .

    Hi Lenders,
I am grateful for you entrusting your money on me. The journey has had its fair share of challenges but what i promised myself and what i know about myself is i have and must pay back my loan. When IT business i started went off i opted to venture into farming and so far the progress is good.My first farming(tomato) project is through and i thank God because it had good returns. Now i am in the process of starting my second 1 acre tomato project which i expect it to be ready by December. Thanks to all the lenders because you understood my situation when i was completely down to an extent that it was becoming difficult to meet my monthly installments. I am rising up again and can now comfortably payback my loan. All is well with me and i thank God.

    Hi, Daniel
I am so pleased you have been able to start your repayments (in spite of your misfortune). I was sure that you were an honest man, and I could not understand the absence of repayments. I am so glad my confidence was justified.

    Hi Zidisha,
I am glad for the support that you have provided to me and others. Despite the fact that my intended business of IT training stopped because all my computers were stolen when the premise i was using was broken into,i thank God because i chose to shift to Farming and for sure my project is doing well. Now i have 1 acre of tomato which will be ready for harvesting late next month. I have learn t that its good to wake up when you fall down else you will remain down forever. For anyone who has or yet to encounter the challenge i went through i encourage you not give.Be Focused to your destiny always. I am now in a position to repay back my loan though it has not been easy to reach where i am .I thank God and Zidisha.

my business premise (class) was broke into early December and all my facilities computer were stolen am now planning to repay using my salary. The moment I finish repaying I am thinking of Venturing into farming because I fear facing the same trouble again. I never thought this would arise and it has really affected my plans. Again I have two boys am educating one is in Campus and I have paid 28000 for and the other is joining form 1 fees 23000/- late this month . This have contributed to me choosing to reschedule my repayment and am very sure I will manage with this schedule .

    Hi Zidisha and Alzrius.

I am very grateful and very excited for what your loan has done to me. The month of August was a very challenging month for me because i had not paid for Licence for operating FROM my training premise. I thank God everything is now very well and moving in upward trend. I started with only 1 laptop computer and currently i have already acquired 2 desktop LENOVO computers of fairly good speed and capacity (2gb memory, 2ghz speed and 80 gb Hard disk) from the returns of my training business. In September i enrolled 4 students and this month of October upto now i already have 5 students. I could be having a higher number but currently i do evening classes for now reason being my plan is to ensure that i register my college with ministry of higher education and fill the class with computers before i start offering full time classes probably mid next year as per my projection and planning. God is good .Long Live ZIDISHA . thank you very much ALZRIUS i lack words to express my sincere gratitude s.
