About Me

Am happy and very grateful to Zidisha platform for giving me the opportunity to grow my business.from a humble beginning of selling second hand clothes to supplying clothes to my customers which could not be impossible if the Zidisha family never existed. The business is good as l look forward to expanding the business to East Africa community. l started the business when i realized the need for self employment as l am able to support my sister by paying her college fee. l relocated to Nakuru town after new opportunities opened up.l live in Racecourse Estate in plot number 628 that is 100 meters from the Friends church.l use my income to expand the business and grow myself economically.

My Business

l ventured into business some years ago so as to make a living where by l used to buy handbags and shoes retail them only for a 20% profit but the profit was so little to even make ends meet as l was supporting my sister who by then was in university but later on l decided to approach a good friend of mine who is based in Nakuru and was in the same business used to travel to Kampala and buy the goods in wholesale to show me the source. she agreed and having taken the loan with the zidisha to buy the stock l was able to take my business to the next level and since then my business has never been the same again.later on due to high competition in Nakuru l decided to venture into vitenge business as the competition was less and the vitenge material will always sell because it does well with chidren, women as well as men hence creating a demand.l buy a piece of kitenge that is usually 2.5meters at ksh 650 here in Nairobi from the businessmen who mainly import from Tanzania and Nigeria and sell the same piece of material from ksh 1000 -1200 to my customers.with the loan amount of ksh 67000 l will invest the money in the business where l will plan to use ksh 50000 to buy stock and the balance of ksh 17000 will take a driving course that will cost me ksh 12000 and the balance will use for my expenses. From the revenues l plan to reinvest again in the business as well as buy a cooker. The zidisha platform is worthy my commitment and l am really proud of it.To my lenders l am kindly requesting for your support to enable me achieve my dreams and may God bless you for your generous contribution towards my loan.
